Projects generally begin with a pile of data, or a napkin sketch, or an unsuccessful Power Point slide that needs help — and the desire for understanding. We talk about context and intent before creating rough conceptual sketches of possible approaches, wrangling the data, and rendering digital mockups of possible solutions. These visuals are then refined as vector art suitable for presentation in print or online.
