Who we are

Threestory Studio opened its doors in 1999 as a complete creative services company focused on brand building and communications design. Founded by Erik Jacobsen, Threestory Studio assembles project-based teams from a pool of talented professionals to meet the specific needs of each engagement.

Erik serves as the point person and creative director for all projects. With over a decade directing creative teams, he has a knack for getting to the heart of the matter and translating that understanding into words and images that help others to see.

Before founding Threestory Studio, Erik worked in Mark Anderson's Palo Alto design studio in both management and creative capacities. His interest in writing, photography, poetry, painting and music inform his design work. Erik loves: learning new tricks, improvising, the company of children, light, the unexpected turn of phrase.
